Mission
The Griffin/Spalding County Civic Improvement League is dedicated to uplifting the Griffin community through philanthropy and service. Our initiatives focus on improving lives and enhancing community well-being in various areas, including education, health, and environment. We invite you to explore our goals, join our efforts, and participate in fostering positive change in Griffin and Spalding County.
Our Initiatives
Outreach
Core outreach includes supporting Title I schools across Spalding County, providing Thanksgiving food boxes for families in need, hosting Red Cross blood drives, volunteering for the Salvation Army Christmas campaign, organizing back-to-school initiatives, leading voter registration efforts, participating in the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. parade, hosting a spring fundraising banquet, and assisting individuals in securing part-time and full-time employment.
Support
Our support initiatives focus on providing social services, educational opportunities, and health resources to those who need them most, ensuring a more equitable community for everyone.
